ASR Charitable Trust is a small charity/NGO, set up in April 2006, working mainly in the Amritsar District of the northern state of Punjab in India.
‘ASR’ is a common abbreviation for Amritsar, and it is also a Punjabi word (pronounced ‘us-ur’) meaning ‘EFFECT’.
The Trust was registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales on 6th July 2006, and the Registrar of Firms and Societies, Punjab on 11th October 2006.
